Warren Williamson became connected with the ocean by spending many years developing his kayaking skills. It didn’t take very long and he decided that he wanted to design and build kayaks. Going to the North West School of Wooden Boat Building was a good start. It was here that he found out about the Rhino program and to get started with learning this CAD program he took classes at Robert McNeel & Associates. Realizing how easy it is to see and figure out geometry using this CAD program, he decided that it would be a great way to make a visual presentation for demonstrating how to develop 2D boat geometry. As a kayaker his main interest is designing kayaks and he uses the Rhino program to design kayaks for production companies and individual builders.
